Directed by Lee Isaac Chung • 2012 • United States
Starring Amanda Plummer, Tetsuo Kuramochi, Will Patton

Lee Isaac Chung offers a daringly original take on the Korean folktale “The Woodcutter and the Nymph” in this surreal, fablelike fantasy. Abigail Harm (Amanda Plummer) is a lonely, eccentric woman living in a fictionalized New York City. After being granted a wish by a strange visitor (Will Patton), Abigail asks for love and learns of a creature (Tetsuo Kuramochi)—possibly a man, possibly an alien—who might provide it.
