Directed by Nikos Nikolaidis • 1990 • Greece
Starring Meredyth Herold, Michele Valley, Panos Thanassoulis
One of the most outrageously perverse films ever made, this legendary cult shocker from godfather of the Greek Weird Wave Nikos Nikolaidis blends film noir, black comedy, and exploitation as a detective (Panos Thanassoulis) searching for his long lost love stumbles upon an incestuous pair of mother-daughter murderers (Michele Valley and Meredyth Herold) who take him captive and draw him into their sadomasochistic power games. The ensuing cavalcade of kink (including everything from sex with a mummy to erotic regurgitation) is rendered strangely beautiful by the lustrous monochrome cinematography.
