3 Episodes

This Tuesday’s pairing unites a vision of brands running riot with Jean-Luc Godard’s classic treatise on youth and consumer culture. The Oscar-winning animated short LOGORAMA, directed by François Alaux, Hervé de Crécy, and Ludovic Houplain, pushes fair-use law to its outer limits, depicting a chaotic Los Angeles overrun with logos and mascots. Then Godard takes us back to Paris in the 1960s, where restless youth pinball between the dueling promises of revolution and pop culture.
