Werewolf mythology gets a wickedly subversive, feminist reworking in this sleeper cult favorite, which locates both horror and dark humor in the turbulent experience of puberty. But a werewolf attack coupled with the onset of her first period brings about a terrifying change in Ginger—leaving Brigitte to try and save her sister from herself.
