The 1940s craze for pop-Freudian psychoanalysis stories yielded this suspenseful thriller, a remake of the 1939 film BLIND ALLEY. This version features an intense performance from William Holden as a psychotic killer who escapes from prison and, along with his moll (Nina Foch) and gang, hides out in the country home of a psychiatrist (Lee J.
