A chance reunion becomes a second chance in this touching, bittersweet love story directed by legendary production designer Jack Fisk, famed for his collaborations with Terrence Malick, David Lynch, and Paul Thomas Anderson. Years ago, Henry (Kevin Kline) and Gussie (Sissy Spacek) were high-school sweethearts in the small seaside town of Ocean City, Maryland. With lofty dreams and youthful ambition, they parted to build separate lives. Fifteen years later, Gussie—an accomplished photojournalist and single woman—returns to her hometown to reassess her life. When she meets the now-married Henry again, both must reckon with the strong feelings of love and affection that have endured over the years.
