The Magnificent Butcher

Hot on the heels of his blockbuster Jackie Chan hit DRUNKEN MASTER, the legendary martial-arts director Yuen Woo-ping helmed another rollicking star vehicle. This time, rising talent Sammo Hung plays Lam Sai-wing, a mischievous student of fabled kung-fu hero Wong Fei-hung (Kwan Tak-hing), who lands in serious trouble when a rival clan frames him for murder. Alongside his costar and fellow Beijing opera “brother” Yuen Biao, Hung displays the slapstick brilliance and agile grace that would soon make him a genre hero.
