Play Misty for Me

Something of a precursor to the erotic thrillers of the 1980s and ’90s, the directorial debut from Clint Eastwood stars the filmmaker as a California radio DJ whose one-night stand with a mysterious fan (Jessica Walter) plunges him into a vortex of obsession, violence, and terror. Right from the start, Eastwood shows himself to be a master craftsman, twisting every possible nerve on a journey into the dark side of the free-love era.
