Homebodies

This criminally overlooked ’70s horror gem wraps a sly critique of gentrification and corporate greed in the guise of an offbeat, black-comic slasher. Six elderly people living an untroubled existence in an old block of flats in Cincinnati hear they are threatened with eviction to make way for a new skyscraper. Panic-stricken at first, they soon devise a grisly plan to get rid of everyone who is responsible for shattering their peaceful life.
