Snake Eyes

Opening with a bravura, thirteen-minute Steadicam tracking shot through an Atlantic City boxing arena, Brian De Palma’s sensationally stylized thriller never lets up from there. When the United States Secretary of Defense is assassinated during a heavyweight match, corrupt cop Rick Santoro (Nicolas Cage) becomes embroiled in a twisty investigation that sees him joining forces with a childhood friend, now U.S. Navy Commander Kevin Dunne (Gary Sinise), and tracking down a mystery woman (Carla Gugino) who may hold the key to uncovering a conspiracy. Legendary composer Ryuichi Sakamoto contributes the score.
