Abel Ferrara’s slick, sexy adaptation of a story by cyberpunk godfather William Gibson journeys deep into the world of corporate espionage, as shady businessmen Fox (Christopher Walken) and X (Willem Dafoe) attempt to lure a Japanese geneticist (“Final Fantasy” artist Yoshitaka Amano) to a rival company with the help of a kinky-feral call girl (Asia Argento). Look out for a cameo from legendary Japanese electronic music pioneer Ryuichi Sakamoto.
