Jennifer’s Body

This sleeper cult classic from director Karyn Kusama infuses the teen horror movie with dark wit and a subversive feminist sting. Diablo Cody’s whip-smart script explores themes of female friendship, sexuality, and trauma via the story of popular cheerleader Jennifer (Megan Fox), who develops an insatiable appetite for her male classmates after she’s possessed by a bloodthirsty demon. When Jennifer’s nerdy best friend Needy (Amanda Seyfried) discovers the truth behind the carnage, she sets out to put a stop to the killings before her boyfriend becomes the next victim.
