And Soon the Darkness

A thriller that manages to generate dread in broad daylight, this masterclass in slow-burn suspense unfolds under the summer sun of the French countryside where British nurses Jane (Pamela Franklin) and Cathy (Michele Dotrice) embark on a carefree cycling tour. When Cathy mysteriously disappears, Jane sets out to find her, with the paranoia mounting as she contends with all manner of menacing, oddball locals in a race against time to beat the setting sun.
