The Wicker Man

Perhaps best remembered now for the memes it launched (“Not the bees!”), this remake of the 1973 pagan horror classic stars Nicolas Cage at his most Nicolas Cage as Edward Malus, a traumatized police officer enlisted to investigate the vanishing of a young girl on a remote island off the coast of Washington state. His hopes of solving the case become increasingly uncertain, however, when he unearths disturbing secrets within the small cult-like community, whose members insist that the girl never existed.
