In another sequence, Beverly and Elliot wander aimlessly through the clinic babbling incoherently of plans to reverse their self-destructive course. A motion-control shot has the camera dollying down the hallway as the twins parade past three successive doorways. To keep the seperately photographed brothers perfectly in step, a metronome was employed on the set. Irons performs Elliot.
