KSAN’s Post-Altamont Broadcast
On December 7, 1969, KSAN took calls from Altamont attendees and a few who’d helped organize it. Among those heard in these excerpts are Rolling Stones road/production manager Sam Cutler, San Francisco counterculture leader Emmett Grogan, and Oakland Hells Angel head Sonny Barger. In 2000, Stefan Ponek, the show’s host, recorded new introductions.
