Horror legend Tobe Hooper (THE TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE) brings his flair for the gruesome to this (very loose) remake of the notorious 1978 slasher of the same name. At the Lusman Arms, a once-luxurious Hollywood hotel now undergoing renovations, a serial killer is murdering residents one by one using—surprise, surprise—all manner of repair equipment in the most grisly ways imaginable. Peppering the proceedings with references to infamous LA lore, Hooper serves up a splatterfest sure to please old-school gore-hounds.
