Color of Night

Color of Night

Directed by Richard Rush • 1994 • United States
Starring Bruce Willis, Jane March, Rubén Blades

This deliriously over-the-top psychosexual sizzler casts Bruce Willis as a New York psychiatrist who is left with psychosomatic color blindness after witnessing a patient commit suicide. A fresh start in Los Angeles doesn’t go as planned when he becomes drawn into the search for a colleague’s killer and embroiled in an intense affair with a mysterious woman (Jane March) who may be connected to the crime. Though it initially bombed at the box office, COLOR OF NIGHT went on to become a Blockbuster-era classic thanks to its luridly entertaining premise and memorably steamy sex scenes between Willis and March.
