In the following program, Hooker recounts the early pioneers of Hollywood stunt work in silent comedy and westerns, the later innovations of car-chase movies and Hong Kong action cinema, and his own career pulling “cannon rolls” for Quentin Tarantino and helping William Friedkin execute legendary chase sequences.
