A Very Easy Death

Taking inspiration and its title from existentialist philosopher Simone de Beauvoir’s autobiographical book, Mary Stephen’s lyrical short interweaves still photos and family archival footage to document her own experience of grief and remembrance in the wake of her mother’s death.
