Alongside her predominantly lesbian bandmates, she’s spent years of struggle playing gigs up and down the Sunset Strip. But when that big break finally arrives, the band faces hard questions about what they really want. Based on Cheri Lovedog’s autobiographical play, PREY FOR ROCK & ROLL is a powerful look at the experiences of queer women on the rock ’n’ roll fringes, with Gershon singing all the film’s songs herself.
