Dr. T & the Women
Leaving November 30

2h 1m
Directed by Robert Altman • 2000 • United States
Starring Richard Gere, Helen Hunt, Farrah Fawcett
Robert Altman assembles a typically virtuosic ensemble cast for this sly, satirical take on the screwball comedy. Richard Gere is the titular Dallas physician, a wealthy and successful gynecologist surrounded by women in both his professional and personal life. Ever calm and patient, Dr. T sees his equanimity tested as his life is rocked by a series of events—his wife (Farrah Fawcett) suffers a breakdown, his daughter (Kate Hudson) has a bombshell secret, his sister-in-law (Laura Dern) won’t stop meddling, and a professional golfer (Helen Hunt) strikes up a new flirtation—that force him to reconsider everything he thought he knew about women.
