Cars were harmed in the making of this movie. Indeed, no less than 127 vehicles were destroyed or damaged in the course of production—ninety-three of them alone in the electrifying, forty-minute car chase sequence that is the film’s raison d’être. Produced, written, directed by, and starring daredevil stunt driver H. B. Halicki, this pedal-to-the-metal pileup of vehicular carnage centers on Maindrian Pace (Halicki), an insurance investigator who moonlights as a professional car thief. When he’s hired by a South American drug lord to steal forty-eight cars in five days, Pace is in for one seriously wild ride.
