Starring Al Pacino, Robin Williams, Hilary Swank
For his follow-up to MEMENTO, Christopher Nolan crafted another masterfully constructed psychological thriller, a riveting journey into darkness in the land of the midnight sun. Under the glare of the relentless Alaskan daylight, two veteran Los Angeles police officers close in on their suspect in the murder of a teenage girl. But when officer Will Dormer (Al Pacino) accidentally shoots his partner, their suspect, reclusive novelist Walter Finch (Robin Williams), who witnessed the shooting, begins blackmailing him. Now, as an idealistic local detective (Hilary Swank) investigates the case, Dormer’s sanity begins to falter.
