Hired to broker the deal is Tom Hanson (Christian Slater), a Wall Street analyst who stands to make a killing from the merger. But the more Hanson learns about the deal the more he begins to suspect that something is amiss—and that he and his newly hired associate (Selma Blair) may be at the heart of a dangerous conspiracy.
